Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By downloading or using Nurtur ("the app"), you agree to these terms. Nurtur is published by Cinderwick Studio LLC, a Virginia limited liability company ("we", "us"). If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Nurtur on devices you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, redistribute, or sell the app except as permitted by applicable law.

3. Your content

The plant information you enter is stored on your own device and remains yours. We do not access, host, or back up that information. You are responsible for it, including keeping any records you want to retain before changing devices or uninstalling.

4. The app is provided "as is"

Nurtur is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. Watering reminders are a convenience and may be affected by your device settings, permissions, or operating system. We do not guarantee that reminders will always be delivered on time, and the health of your plants remains your responsibility.

5. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cinderwick Studio LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app, including any missed reminder or loss of locally stored data.

6. Price

Nurtur is currently free and contains no in-app purchases. If we introduce paid features in a future version, the applicable terms and pricing will be presented at that time.

7. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date above reflects the latest version, and material changes will accompany an app update.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
